Good morning everyone. It is so wonderful to be able to hear God's nature. The birds singing and see his nature by looking all around at the beautiful colors He has given us. When we look all around and see the beautiful flowers all arrayed in different colors who says green does not go with blue or any other color for that matter. God says all colors make for a wonderful view. When we listen to the birds singing and hear all nature saying God is love how can we not have a beautiful day.
In the next chapter of my book, chapter 29, I talk about love. Love makes all the difference. When we pour out our love on someone how can that person react accept for loving back. Making another human being feel good and not hurt. We should always watch what we say or how we respond to one another.
When someone is hurting you how do you respond? Do you lash back out with as many or more hurtful words that sometimes you can never take back? Or do you respond with love, filtering out what your words will be before you throw them out there.
My mouth has always been my biggest problem and I have had to pray for myself constantly because I tend to want to say just what is on my mind and not filter first. God is showing me everyday how to control my words and only speak things that will uplift another human being. I am learning to do unto others the way I would like to be treated.
Love can accomplish many things. It was God's love for us that caused Jesus to die for our sins. In some cases it is better for us to be hurt to accomplish the end. Bite your tongue when someone lashes unkindly out to you. Just say I love you. That is what I did when I was raising my children and they would lash out at me as they grew older. I just said, I don't understand why you are doing this to me but I will always love you. I always tried to respond with love. And I am here to say it worked. You can read all about it in my book, in chapter 29.
Love conquers all, It is a healing to the soul. God is love. Let us pour out our love to everyone we meet today. Our scripture is found in 1 Corinthians 13:8, It says
Love never fails.
The love of God is given to you the most when you fail. Treating someone else with the same mercy is the greatest gift you can give.
Good morning everyone! Hope you are having a wonderful start to your day. Remember to always start your morning with God and He will get you through all the challenges this day will bring your way. When you place God first in your life you will see clearly how He always has you on His mind. No matter what the challenges of this new day holds, you can face them all with peace in your heart when you start your day with God.
Chapter nine of my book shows the reader how to put all of your trust in God. The challenges that faced Mark and I as we started our new life together. Being young and having so little, living in Connecticut without electricity and refrigerator and heat for a whole year was definitely challenging. Then I became pregnant, which added even more stress to the already stressful situation. I became so sick I had to leave my husband and go to my parents, which was not the ideal home to be in while carrying a precious soul inside of me.
I had to endure the alcohol, smoking and fights that were constantly a part of my parents home. I had no other choice but to figure a way to endure it because I was much too sick to be alone. I found away with God’s help to block everything that was bad out. God showed me the way.
Whatever you are facing, no matter how big or small, remember to give it all to God and He will be there for you and show you the way out. Our scripture for today is Psalm 115:11,12 “You who fear the Lord trust in the Lord, He is their help and their shield. The Lord has been mindful of us…He will bless those who fear the Lord, both small and great.”
God knows what your needs are. You are always in His mind and if you love and trust Him, He will honor you. Have a wonderful day and don’t forget to start it with God.
I am praying you all have a blessed day. Just remember to keep your eyes on Jesus and your path today will be a whole lot clearer. In my second chapter of my book, Journey to a Better Land, my grandmother learned the true meaning of happiness. Since a very young girl she wanted to follow Jesus, but was looking for Him in all the wrong places. When she finally read the Bible for herself God showed her the way. Once she saw the way clearly there was nothing holding her back. She decided to follow what she was learning from the Bible and her path became more clear. She was a grand servant of God until she fell asleep in Jesus at a ripe old age.
Read her miracle stories which led her to the person she became. I guarantee as you read her stories you will be horrified at what she had to go through, one of them being almost raped as young as 15 by a man of God. So many more exciting stories she shared with us as we were growing up. Here are the scriptures from my second chapter, may it bless you today.
If you love Me, keep My commandments. John 14:15 God loves you and longs for you to love Him. He has committed Himself to your salvation and offers to enter into a covenant relationship with you. His ten commandments are the boundaries of the covenant that teaches you how to love Him and those around you.
Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy, six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your manservant, nor your maidservant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it. Exodus 20:8-11 God wants you to know who He is…your Creator and Savior. Responding to your deepest needs, He gives you one day a week for worship, rest and refreshment. He gives you time with Him, family and fellow believers. How kind He is.
