Good morning. I hope you are all ready for a new day today. Remember to start it out with God and the sunshine will flow out of you all day. We had a lot of clouds lately. I had to keep the sunshine in my heart all week, It has not been really nice weather for us. I would like to encourage those who have lost loved ones. I would like to say that God has promised us that we will see them again someday and this life on earth is not the end. In my next chapter of my book, chapter 27, I talk a little about losing my dad. He did not live a good life and I did not feel I had the assurance of seeing him again when Jesus comes to take us home. I am so glad that we have a loving God that is the judge and I have no idea what really went on in my dad's heart. I truly believe he gave his heart totally to God on his death bed.
He loved God in his younger years, you can read all about his life in my book. Some of it is not good at all and I wonder how can this man be saved with such a track record. God looks at our heart and He knows us better than anyone else. I thank God that we are not the judge. I just have to make sure that my life is on the right track so I can make it there.
God has shown us how to live a good life while on this earth so we can be ready for the next one that He is preparing for those that love him. Let us make sure we do all we can to prepare ourselves for Jesus coming so we can say without a doubt when our time comes, I have lived a good life, doing what God wants me to do and I am ready to see my Saviour. I long to hear Jesus say, "Come you blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. Matthew 25:34 Let us all be there to greet one another. That is the day I am waiting for.
Today's scripture is found in Micah 6:8. It reads, "He has shown you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you, but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?"
God’s word shows you the way to live. Following it will change your life. Have a blessed day and only think positive thoughts.
