Good morning everyone, I pray you are all having a wonderful start to your day.

I want to continue on our journey with my next chapter of my book, chapter 15. In one part of this chapter I talk about not taking revenge on someone who has done you wrong. That is so hard to do when someone has hurt you terribly. I want to encourage you today that if you have someone like this in your life or if you feel so hurt you don't ever want to forgive, just take it to Jesus. and go to His word, and find the counsel He has given to help us find it in our hearts to forgive.

I remember so long ago when we lived in the school bus and we had our little kitty, the one that managed to find us while taking a long walk on a hot August day. He was so adorable and we decided to keep him always. Well when we made the move from CT to NH with the school bus we parked it on our friends land.

Our kitty was always getting into the neighbors yard and they threatened to poison him if he did not stay away. I couldn't believe that someone would actually do that. Well, one day we found our kitty under the school bus deathly sick. We took him to the vet and he said he was poisoned. Wow! Talk about wanting revenge. We were so hurt and angry that someone could actually do this to one of God's little helpless creatures.

I had to take this to God and He showed me what to do. Our scripture for today is found in Leviticus 19:18. It says " You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself. I am the Lord.

Do not take it upon yourself to get even with someone who has done you wrong. Keep peace in your heart at all times and bring all problems to God. “Vengeance is Mine; I will repay, says the Lord.” (Hebrews 10:30 NKJV) Trust Him to take care of it.

Have a wonderful day and remember to take all your problems to the One who has all the answers for you. God Bless You!
